Medium 19th Century Copper Log Bin
A well-proportioned copper log bin of practical, usable scale, hand-hammered and raised on three cast brass lions paw feet. The body is encircled at the base with a wide riveted copper band and fitted with decorative brass handles.
The surface has developed a deep, rich patina with natural variation and marking from long fireside use, the interior darkened accordingly.
A great decorative late 19th century example — ideal beside the hearth or equally suited to coal or kindling.
